Dress code for each dance subject is important for several reasons including
developing self-discipline and preparedness for excellent performance, competition or examinations

  • Dancers are required to wear Dancewear as outlined for each Dance Subject.

  • The Teacher must be able to see bodylines and muscle engagement for development of good posture, muscle control and muscle development.

  • Parent co-operation is essential to ensure that the dancer(s) follow the Studio Dress Code.

  • Dancers MUST be dressed properly for class and have the required equipment with them for each class.  They will be asked to leave the class until properly attired. Good grooming is a part of Good dancing

  • Fleece-wear, denim, baggy clothing and jewelery are not permitted.

  • Dancers will need a Dance Note-Book with them to take class notes.

  • Dancers require a Water Bottle for each class they take with their name on it.

  • Dancewear items and Dance Bags are available in the Studio Dance Shop.
